As a Lead .Net Engineer, you will play a key role in driving the technical strategy, development, and upkeep of Staples Promotional Product’s core applications and system integrations. You’ll be responsible for crafting and enhancing software components - including programs, scripts, and data models - based on detailed design specifications that emphasize performance, reliability, and scalability.

You’ll bring a thorough understanding of the organization’s software ecosystem, with advanced proficiency in Full stack.NET MVC technologies and key programming languages such as C#, SQL, and JavaScript. Familiarity and experience with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, XML, JSON and up-to-date web design principles is essential. You’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders - including UX, content, eCommerce, and strategy teams - to exchange and interpret complex technical information.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
8+ years of experience in Full Stack .NET, ASP .Net Core, MVC technologies,



Razor views/Engine and key programming languages such as C#, SQL, JavaScript and jQuery.
Must have valuable experience with Razor View and Razor Engine
Familiarity and experience with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, XML, JSON and modern web design principles are essential.
Experience with designing and implementing eCommerce applications using service-oriented architectures, with at least 4+ years in a lead/mentoring role.
Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including independent analysis, design, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
Familiarity with Elastic Search
4+ years of experience working with web services and APIs (SOAP/HTTP, REST, WCF).
Experience developing applications with relational MS SQL
Excellent analytical abilities and a solid intellectual curiosity
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / SVN
