Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop microcontroller-based embedded hardware
Design and debug analog front-end circuits for ADC, DAC, and load cells
Develop and test Embedded C firmware for hardware bring-up and validation
Design and integrate communication interfaces:
CAN
RS485
Ethernet
Perform schematic design, component selection, and BOM creation
Support and review PCB layout (analog, digital, mixed-signal)
Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation
Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and production teams
Conduct EMI/EMC debugging and design improvements
Support prototype testing, field trials, and production issues
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 35 years of experience in embedded hardware design
• Robust experience with microcontrollers (STM32, NXP, TI, PIC, AVR, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with:
ADC, DAC, and load cell signal conditioning
CAN, RS485, and Ethernet hardware interfaces
Embedded C programming
• Experience with analog circuit design (op-amps, filters, instrumentation amplifiers)
• Knowledge of power supply design (LDOs, DC-DC converters)
• Familiarity with communication stacks and transceivers
• Experience using EDA tools (Altium, OrCAD, Eagle, KiCad, etc.)
• Solid debugging skills using oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter
• Understanding of EMI/EMC and ESD protection techniques
Candidate should have knowledge of following
Microcontroller Design : Digital input , output designing using GPIO .
Power supply : Design considerations for PS for Microcontroller , Digital & Analog circuits . Key parameters of Power supply.
DC-DC Converter Design
Analog to digital convertors : SAR, Sigma-Delta ADC .
Low voltage signal conditioning.
Different types of filters used in analog circuits .
Digital to analog convertors 12bit ,16 bit.
Designing of a 420 mA transmitter/Receiver.
Designing of Communication Hardware for RS485 ,CAN, Ethernet
EMI , RFI shielding
