The Accounts Executive / Manager Accounts is responsible for managing the hospital's financial and accounting operations, ensuring accurate maintenance of books of accounts, statutory compliance, budgeting, financial reporting, payroll coordination, revenue management, vendor payments, bank reconciliations, audit support, and implementation of effective internal financial controls. The role ensures compliance with applicable financial regulations and supports management with timely financial information for strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting
Maintain accurate books of accounts.
Record daily financial transactions.
Verify accounting vouchers and journal entries.
Maintain general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
Ensure timely posting of all financial transactions.
Monitor financial accuracy and completeness.
Cash & Bank Management
Maintain cash book and bank book.
Perform daily cash reconciliation.
Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
Monitor online banking transactions.
Ensure proper cash handling and banking procedures.
Revenue & Receivables Management
Monitor patient billing collections.
Verify OPD, IPD, Pharmacy, Laboratory and Radiology revenues.
Track Corporate and TPA receivables.
Follow up outstanding payments.
Monitor debtor ageing reports.
Vendor & Payment Management
Verify vendor invoices.
Maintain vendor ledger.
Process vendor payments after approval.
Reconcile vendor accounts.
Coordinate with Purchase and Stores Department.
Payroll Coordination
Assist and supervise salary processing.
Verify attendance inputs.
Ensure statutory deductions.
Coordinate with HR Department.
Maintain payroll records.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
Prepare departmental budgets.
Monitor budget utilization.
Conduct variance analysis.
Forecast cash flow requirements.
Recommend cost control measures.
