Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Embedded C Developer to design, develop, and test embedded software for automotive/embedded systems. The candidate should have strong expertise in Embedded C programming, debugging, and software development life cycle activities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain embedded software using C programming language.
Design, code, debug, and optimize firmware for embedded systems.
Analyze software requirements and prepare design documents.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.
Interface with hardware teams for board bring-up and debugging.
Troubleshoot software and hardware-related issues.
Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards.
Support software integration and product validation activities.
Required Skills
Solid proficiency in Embedded C.
Positive understanding of Microcontrollers and Microprocessors.
Experience with RTOS concepts.
Knowledge of communication protocols:
CAN
LIN
UART
SPI
I2C
Experience with debugging tools such as JTAG, Trace32, Lauterbach, etc.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience with version control tools such as Git.
Preferred Skills
Automotive domain experience.
Knowledge of AUTOSAR.
Experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer).
Python scripting for automation.
Embedded Linux knowledge.
Familiarity with ISO 26262 Functional Safety.
Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or related field.
