Job Summary

We are looking for a Packaging Development Executive with 23 years of experience in the FMCG, Cosmetics, Personal Care, or Perfume industry. The candidate will be responsible for developing and commercializing cutting-edge, cost-effective, and high-quality packaging solutions for recent and existing products. The role requires close coordination with Marketing, Procurement, QA, Production, R&D;, and suppliers to ensure timely product launches.

Key Responsibilities
Develop primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging for new product development (NPD).
Coordinate with packaging material suppliers for sample development, modifications, quotations, and approvals.
Evaluate packaging materials such as PET, HDPE, PP, glass bottles, tubes, jars, caps, pumps, sprayers, droppers, cartons, labels, shrink sleeves, and corrugated boxes.
Prepare packaging specifications, BOMs, technical drawings, and packaging standards.




Conduct packaging qualification trials and line trials before commercial production.
Perform packaging performance tests including leak test, drop test, compression test, transportation test, compatibility study, fitment, torque, and dispensing performance.
Investigate packaging-related production issues and customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
Identify cost optimization and value engineering prospects without compromising product quality.
Coordinate artwork development and packaging change management with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure packaging complies with applicable regulatory and customer requirements.
Support supplier qualification, audits, and packaging material validation.
Maintain packaging development records, specifications, and approval documents.
Meet project timelines to support successful product launches.
