Role & responsibilities
Prepare and set up dialysis machines before each treatment.
Perform hemodialysis procedures as per the nephrologist's instructions and hospital protocols.
Monitor patients' vital signs before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
Ensure proper vascular access care and report any complications immediately.
Maintain strict infection control practices and follow safety guidelines.
Inspect, clean, disinfect, and maintain dialysis equipment after each use.
Document patient treatment details accurately in medical records.
Respond promptly to emergencies and inform the nephrologist or nursing staff of any abnormal patient condition.
Educate patients on dialysis procedures, treatment schedules, and basic care instructions.
Ensure adequate stock of dialysis consumables and maintain a clean, safe, and organized dialysis unit.

Preferred candidate profile




Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Dialysis Technology (B.Sc./DMLT with Dialysis specialization).
Minimum 13 years of experience in a dialysis unit
Knowledge of hemodialysis machines, dialysis procedures, and infection control protocols.
Ability to monitor patients and respond effectively during emergencies.
Positive communication and patient counseling skills.
Robust attention to detail with accurate documentation skills.
Basic knowledge of biomedical waste management and safety standards.
Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and on-call duties.
Team player with a skilled, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude.
Registration with the appropriate State Paramedical Council (if applicable) is preferred.
