Job overview:

The Pre-Sales Networking engineer is responsible for consulting, analysis, design, and implementation support for Networking Project

Primary Responsibilities and Activities:
He/She should work with sales team to identify business and technical requirements for networking prospects of Routing, Switching, wireless, security
He/She needs to have multiple OEM product knowledge like Cisco, HP, Juniper, Extreme, and Forc10 Etc.
Should be able to give solution and making Bill of Material of multiple OEMs like Cisco, HP, Juniper, Etc.
Should have knowledge of developing networking designs based on the latest Cisco advanced technologies
should prepare solution documents & presentation for customer
should interface with Vendor technical experts
should develop and maintain relationships with clients
should perform network readiness assessments




should provide knowledge transfer and detailed design/operational documentation to clients and internal teams
Sometimes he should be part of project implementation activity

Preferred knowledge and skill set:
WAN and LAN, QoS
Excellent client management/resolution, problem solving, debugging/troubleshooting skills
Excellent oral, written & presentation communications skills
CCDA / CCNP / CCIE or Higher Cisco Certification or any other CISCO certification would be an advantage
Required Expertise on following Technology
Routing
Switching
Wireless
Security
Related NMS Software’s etc

Required Academic Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor Degree from Engineering background.
