Logistics & Dispatch Management
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely dispatch of materials.
Track purchase orders and monitor dispatch schedules.
Arrange transportation and select appropriate vehicles based on shipment requirements.
Plan routes and coordinate deliveries to project sites.
Documentation & Compliance
Verify and maintain logistics documents including:
Tax Invoice
E-way Bill
Lorry Receipt (LR)
Gate Pass
Insurance Documents
Ensure compliance with GST and transportation regulations.
Shipment Tracking
Monitor vehicles from dispatch until delivery.
Share delivery status and ETA with internal stakeholders.
Resolve transit delays and logistics-related issues promptly. Material Receipt & Inventory
Coordinate unloading activities at project sites.
Verify material quantity, specifications, and quality.
Generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
Report damages, shortages, or discrepancies immediately.
Maintain stock records, inward/outward registers, and follow FIFO practices.
Reverse Logistics
Handle returns, replacement materials, surplus stock transfers, and damaged goods.
Coordinate with vendors for debit notes and replacement deliveries.
Freight Cost Management
Monitor freight expenses for each project.
Verify transporter invoices against approved rates.
Coordinate with Accounts for timely payment processing.
Preferred candidate profile
• Robust knowledge of logistics and transportation operations.
• Understanding of GST, E-way Bills, GRNs, and logistics documentation. • Positive coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Solid problem-solving and organizational abilities.
