Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department and ensure smooth workflow.
Ensure prompt, productive, and quality care is provided to emergency patients.
Manage and coordinate ER nursing staff, technicians, and support staff.
Prepare duty rosters, monitor attendance, and ensure adequate staffing coverage.
Supervise triage activities and ensure timely prioritization of patients.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, NABH standards, and infection control practices.
Coordinate with Emergency Physicians, Consultants, Nursing Team, Laboratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, and other departments.
Monitor patient flow, waiting time, admissions, transfers, and discharges from ER.
Ensure proper documentation of patient records, emergency registers, and medico-legal documentation.
Monitor availability and functioning of emergency equipment, crash carts, medications, and consumables.
Conduct regular checks of emergency trolleys, drugs, and equipment readiness.
Handle patient and attendant concerns professionally and escalate issues when required.
Ensure implementation of safety practices and maintain a clean, organized emergency workplace.
Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to ER staff.
Conduct regular audits and identify areas for improvement.
Participate in emergency drills and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain coordination during critical cases and mass casualty situations.
Prepare reports related to ER activities and submit them to management.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
