Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and dedicated
Safety Officer
to ensure the effective implementation of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) practices across our project sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining statutory compliance, conducting safety inspections, minimizing workplace hazards, and promoting a strong safety culture while ensuring the safety of employees, contractors, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures at project sites.
Conduct routine safety inspections, hazard identification,



and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, company standards, and client requirements.
Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
Monitor high-risk activities and ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) systems and protected work practices.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, recommending corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain safety records, inspection reports, permits, incident logs, and other HSE documentation.
Coordinate with project teams to promote continuous improvement in workplace safety.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of HSE regulations, statutory compliance, and workplace safety practices.
Experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
Knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) systems and emergency response procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office and safety documentation.
