Data Annotator – Bounding Box (Contract/Freelance)
About The Role
Aurelius Systems is looking for 2–3 detail-oriented contractors to join our data annotation team. In this role, you'll be drawing and labeling bounding boxes on image datasets used to train machine learning models. This is a remote, flexible, pay-per-annotation contract position.

Responsibilities
Accurately draw bounding boxes around specified objects in images according to provided guidelines
Maintain consistent labeling quality across large batches
Meet minimum output requirements in a rapid and timely manner
Communicate any data quality issues or ambiguities to the team lead

Requirements
Robust attention to detail
Ability to follow exact labeling instructions
Reliable internet connection and a computer capable of running annotation tools
Ability to complete a minimum of 500 annotations per engagement





Compensation & Volume
Previous annotation experience is a plus but not required
Rate: $0.05 per bounding box annotation.
Volume: Batches are assigned as needed, with a minimum annotations per assignment.
Contract Type: 1099 contract position.
