Key Responsibilities
Risk Assessment: Perform regular site inspections and audits to identify potential workplace hazards or unsafe conditions.
Policy Enforcement: Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure staff comply with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents or near-misses, prepare comprehensive reports, and implement corrective measures.
Training & Education: Lead safety orientations for recent hires and conduct ongoing safety drills, workshops, and awareness programs.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain meticulous records of safety protocols and liaise with external regulatory bodies to meet statutory and local legal requirements.
Essential Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Practical experience in high-risk settings like construction, manufacturing, or logistics, with a robust understanding of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Hazard Identification
