Job Purpose

To manage end-to-end accounting processes related to Airport Charges, Engineering payables and Fixed Assets Accounting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The role includes vendor coordination, audit readiness, tax compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Airport Charges, Engineering and Fixed Asset Management
Oversee Airport Charges, Engineering and fixed asset accounting including invoice booking, asset code creation, and contract review
Leading the Automation in Airport Charges, Engineering and FA accounting
Conduct physical verification and reconciliation of assets per company policy
Maintain Fixed Asset Register, update based on department feedback (e.g., asset location, scrapping, sale)
Capitalize assets and compute depreciation as per accounting standards
Ensure monthly closure of books according to financial timelines
Track capital advances and ensure closure
Support audit preparedness through schedule creation and resolution of audit points

Vendor Coordination & Controls




Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding issues
Ensure internal controls are in place and properly documented
Ensuring FEMA compliance with respect to payments / receipts in Foreign currency
Maintain tax compliance (Direct and Indirect) relevant to engineering and asset purchases

Reporting & Business Support
Prepare regular MIS and analytics reports for leadership
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and data accuracy
Support strategic decision-making with financial insight
