About the Internship

Were looking for a curious, AI-native SEO/AEO/GEO Intern to help grow Recootys visibility across both traditional search engines and AI answer engines. Youll work on real content for a global SaaS product from day one, learning a skill set that most marketers in India havent caught up to yet. Perform well, and this converts into a full-time role after 3 months.

What Youll Do
Support on-page SEO: meta tags, headings, internal linking, and content structure




Conduct keyword research and identify content gaps against competitors
Optimize blog content for AI citation: direct-answer openings, question-format headers, FAQ sections, and structured data
Research how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews answer queries in the hiring and HR tech space, and find prospects for Recooty to get cited
Track rankings, AI mentions, and organic traffic using Google Search Console and Analytics
Assist with internal linking audits and content refresh plans for existing blog posts
Monitor SEO health: indexing issues, duplicate content, and technical fixes
Compile weekly reports on whats working, whats not, and why

What Were Looking For
Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals: on-page, off-page, and technical
Genuine curiosity about AI search tools; you already use ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini and notice how they cite sources
Awareness of featured snippets, People
