Job Summary

We are hiring experienced Electrical Design Engineers with expertise in Primary/Physical Design of High Voltage AIS/GIS Substations. The role involves detailed engineering, equipment selection, technical coordination, engineering calculations, and ensuring compliance with international standards for Utility and EPC projects.

Candidates having experience in Transmission & Distribution, Power Infrastructure, EPC, Utility, or Renewable Energy Substation Projects are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed engineering and physical design of AIS & GIS High Voltage Substations
Prepare:




General Arrangement (GA) Drawings
Equipment Layouts
Busbar Layouts
Earthing & Grounding Layouts
Lightning Protection Layouts
Cable Routing & Cable Carrier Layouts
Control Building Layouts
Design Auxiliary AC/DC Systems
Prepare equipment specifications, data sheets and BOM
Perform engineering calculations including:
Busbar & Conductor Sizing
Earthing Design
Lightning Protection
Cable Sizing
Voltage Drop
Thermal Calculations
Short Circuit Force Calculations
Review vendor drawings and resolve technical queries
Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Protection & Control, Project Engineering and Client teams
Support FAT, SAT, commissioning and site engineering activities
Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, ANSI and project standards
