Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Plant Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for our Automotive Lighting manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for driving production excellence, ensuring compliance, improving operational efficiency, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead overall plant operations including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Stores, Dispatch, and Utilities.
Ensure compliance with required quality standards.
Drive production planning, capacity utilization, productivity improvement, and cost optimization initiatives.
Monitor and improve key manufacturing KPIs including OEE, yield, rejection, and on-time delivery.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies.




Manage CAPEX, OPEX, budgeting, and resource planning.
Lead and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Support current product introduction, validation activities, and plant expansion projects.

Desired Candidate Profile:
10+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 5 years in a Plant Head/Operations Head role.
Experience in auto components industry preferably automotive lighting.
Solid exposure to injection moulding, assembly processes, quality systems, and manufacturing excellence initiatives.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
