A reputed Multi-Speciality Hospital in Kadi is looking for a dedicated and experienced Infection Control Nurse (ICN) to join its clinical quality team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing infection prevention and control practices, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with NABH standards.

Salary- ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month
Salary will be offered based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and skill set.

Eligibility
GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / P.B.B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid Nursing Council Registration.
Minimum 2–5 years of hospital experience, preferably in Infection Control, ICU, OT, or Quality.
Certification or formal training in Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) will be an added advantage.
Positive knowledge of NABH standards, biomedical waste management, HAI surveillance, and infection control protocols.
Robust communication, analytical, documentation, and training skills.

Key Responsibilities




Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control policies across the hospital.
Conduct surveillance of Hospital-Acquired Infections (HAIs) and prepare regular infection control reports.
Perform infection control audits and ensure compliance with NABH and statutory guidelines.
Monitor hand hygiene practices, PPE compliance, sterilization, disinfection, and biomedical waste management.
Investigate infection outbreaks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct orientation and regular training programmes for clinical and non-clinical staff on infection prevention practices.
Coordinate with microbiology, nursing, housekeeping, CSSD, and other departments to strengthen infection control measures.
Maintain infection control documentation, audit records, and quality indicators.
Participate in Infection Control Committee meetings and support continuous quality improve
