We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Billing Engineer to manage client and subcontractor billing, quantity verification, and commercial documentation at the project site. The candidate should have hands-on experience in construction billing processes, RA bill preparation, and coordination with project execution and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation and submission of client RA bills, final bills, and reconciliation statements.
Verification and certification of subcontractor and vendor bills based on measured work.
Preparation of BOQ, quantity take-off, and measurement sheets as per drawings and site progress.
Cross-checking measurements with site execution team and maintaining measurement books (MB).
Tracking material reconciliation, running bills, and cost variations against BOQ.
Preparation of rate analysis for extra and substituted items.
Coordination with project, procurement, and finance teams for timely billing and payment closures.
Maintaining billing records, documentation, and MIS reports for management review.
Ensuring billing activities comply with contract terms, conditions, and project timelines.
Assisting in preparation of variation and deviation statements for claims.
Required Skills
Solid knowledge of billing procedures, quantity surveying, and measurement techniques.
Positive understanding of BOQ, rate analysis, and RA bill preparation.
Proficiency in MS Excel and billing/ERP software.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Positive coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple bills and vendors simultaneously.
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, or
Diploma in Civil Engineering with relevant experience.
