Position Title: Learning & Development Specialist

Location: Chennai, India

Role Summary

The Learning and Development (L&D;) Specialist is responsible for enhancing the knowledge base and skills of all employees within the GCC. This role involves assessing training needs, designing curriculum, delivering training sessions, collaborating with training vendors and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs. The specialist will play a critical role in establishing a solid learning culture and fostering a capability development mindset from Day 1, while also leading mandatory and compliance-related trainings to ensure organizational readiness and regulatory alignment.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Needs Analysis
Conduct skills gap analyses to identify current and future capability needs across teams within the organization, aligning learning initiatives with organizational goals
Partner with business unit heads and leadership to assess, prioritize, and address developmental needs through targeted training and upskilling strategies





Learning Program Design & Development
Design and deliver learning programs that address both organizational goals and individual development needs
Develop structured curricula aligned with the organization objectives and employee career paths
Incorporate wide-ranging learning methods, such as gamification and microlearning, to suit different learning styles
Create and customize course materials, including digital content, manuals, and interactive tools
Work with subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, practical, and aligned with current business needs
Manage program logistics, including scheduling, venues, and materials, to ensure smooth execution
Define explicit learning objectives and outcomes for all training initiatives to measure impact and effectiveness
