Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting
Maintain accurate books of accounts for the assigned branch.
Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Verify and reconcile daily sales transactions with the POS/ERP system.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
Monitor branch expenses and ensure proper accounting of all transactions.
Verify supplier invoices and process payments as per company procedures.

Cash & Banking
Verify daily cash collections and prepare cash closing reports.
Reconcile cash balances at the end of each business day.
Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Coordinate cash deposits and maintain banking records.
Monitor and account for petty cash transactions.

Inventory Accounting
Account for inventory purchases, transfers, returns, and adjustments.
Reconcile physical stock with system records.
Assist in periodic stock verification and annual stock audits.
Investigate inventory variances and report findings to management.




Ensure proper documentation for all inventory-related transactions.

Compliance & Controls
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Assist internal and external auditors by providing required information.
Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Reporting
Prepare daily sales and cash reports.
Generate monthly financial and management reports.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
Provide financial data and analysis to management for decision-making.

Experience
2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the retail or jewellery industry.
Solid understanding of inventory accounting and branch accounting.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
