Job Description Network Engineer L3

Experience

8+ years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Network Engineering, Operations, and Architecture supporting large-scale distributed settings.

Key Responsibilities
Provide L3 support for complex network, security, wireless, SD-WAN, and cloud infrastructure issues.
Design, implement, optimize, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data Center, Cloud, and Security solutions.
Lead major incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, and Application teams to ensure high availability and performance.
Maintain network documentation,



standards, and operational procedures.

Technical Skills

Routing & Switching
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus (9K/7K/5K/2K), Catalyst, ISR/ASR Routers, and multi-vendor switching platforms (Cisco, Aruba, HP, Juniper, Dell).
Expert knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN, STP, HSRP/VRRP, Multicast, QoS, PBR, and Load Balancing.

Wireless
Extensive experience with Cisco WLC, Cisco Catalyst Wireless, Aruba Wireless, and Meraki Wireless.
Robust knowledge of WLAN design, RF troubleshooting, access point deployment, and wireless security.

Load Balancing & WAN Optimization
Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM.
Experience with WAN Optimization solutions such as Riverbed and Cisco WAAS.

Network Security
Solid experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Check Point Firewalls.
Knowledge of VPNs, NAT, IPS/IDS, URL Filtering, SSL Inspection, and Network Segment
