Key Responsibilities
Source and procure:
Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) , Excipients ,PM, QC chemicals and consumables,Engineering and maintenance spare parts
Identify and evaluate recent suppliers.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate the best commercial terms.
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA), warehouse, and finance departments.
Ensure purchased materials comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and company quality standards.
Maintain procurement records and documentation.
Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
Track market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Required Skills
Knowledge of pharmaceutical raw materials and packaging materials.
Understanding of GMP,



GDP, and regulatory requirements.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally ERP, depending on the company).
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under deadlines.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in:
Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Science (B.Sc.)
Commerce (B.Com)
MBA in Supply Chain or Operations is an advantage for career growth.
