Your Role

As a Design Engineer, you will develop robust design solutions to address automotive engineering requirements using UG NX. You will work directly at the customer site, understand their design needs, and create high-quality 3D models and drawings. You will ensure designs meet functional, manufacturability, and performance requirements while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

In this role, you will:
Be a medium to expert user of CAD platforms (UG NX mandatory) and PDM tools, with valuable knowledge of GDT, configuration files, templates,



and mechanical standards
Understand customer requirements and translate them into design solutions
Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using UG NX
Ensure designs meet functional, manufacturing, and quality requirements
Apply knowledge of casting, plastic, and sheet metal design (added advantage)
Review and validate designs for feasibility and performance
Work directly with customer teams at their site
Collaborate with delivery and cross-functional teams
Support design improvements and implement engineering changes
Ensure timely and high-quality design deliverables

Your Profile
5+ years of experience in (Engineering Streams: Mechanical / Automobile)
Bachelors degree in Mechanical.
Solid skill in UG NX
Strongknowledge of casting, plastic, and sheet metal design (added advantage)
Solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
