Store Manager Job Description

A Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail store to ensure excellent customer service, efficient staff performance, and achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth business activities.
Supervise, train, and motivate store staff to achieve performance goals.
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.
Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints professionally.
Maintain inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and minimize inventory losses.
Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance.
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and compliant with company policies and safety standards.
Handle cash management, banking, and financial reporting.
Monitor product displays and merchandising to maximize sales.
Recruit, train, and evaluate employees.

Required Skills and Qualifications:




High school diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in retail management or a similar leadership role.
Solid leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Positive organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
