Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Technician specializing in hydraulics to join our Production team in the System Integration division. This role requires 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in assembling, piping, testing, and troubleshooting complex hydraulic and mechanical sub-systems.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Integration: Execute the assembly of hydraulic and mechanical parts and structural sub-systems.
Material Verification: Handle the verification, collection, and tracking of required assembly materials.
Site Support: Travel to remote locations or designated sites for field installation and repair work on an as-needed basis.
Proficient in reading part drawings, engineering assembly drawings, and complex hydraulic circuits.
Hydraulic Piping Work: Expert in hydraulic piping, pipe bending, exact fitment, and system-level troubleshooting.
Bench Work: Proficient in structural marking, precision drilling, and grinding.
Core Competencies: Deep domain knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic concepts, assembly workflows, and physical installation rules.
Desirable Skills (Valuable to Have):
Fabrication: Basic fabrication capabilities including tapping and detailed metal finishing.
Precision Inspection: Knowledge of using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and feeler gauges to verify assembly tolerances.
Candidate Specifications & Qualifications
Educational Background: ITI Fitter or certified Hydraulic Technician.
Experience Range: 3 to 5 years of relevant, direct industrial experience.
