CTL India Pvt. Ltd. – Tropic Knits Division is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Executive – Central Planning to join our team. The role involves production planning, factory and line allocation, production coordination, and ensuring on-time execution of customer orders. You will work closely with the Merchandising, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sourcing teams to achieve effective production planning and maintain customer delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Allocate factories and production lines for confirmed customer orders.
Prepare and monitor production plans and schedules based on factory capacity and IE recommendations.
Coordinate with Merchandising to track and maintain customer TNA (Time & Action Calendar).
Update planning activities and order status in the ERP system.
Work closely with Supply Chain, Fabric Sourcing, and Purchase teams to ensure timely material availability (JIT).
Ensure complete input package availability before releasing orders to production.
Monitor daily Ex-Factory shipments and monthly sales performance.
Coordinate and prepare reports for weekly management review meetings.
Visit manufacturing units whenever required to support planning and execution.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Technology, or a related field (B.F.Tech/B.Tech preferred).
Understanding of production planning and basic merchandising workflow.
Knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes.
Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Valuable communication and coordination abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of ERP systems or production planning software is an added advantage.
Willingness to travel to manufacturing units as required.
