Role & responsibilities

As a Resident Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical representative at the project site. You will coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and railway authorities to ensure that all S&T; activities are completed safely, efficiently, and within the project schedule. The role requires robust technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience in managing railway infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise the execution of railway signalling and telecommunication works at the project site.
Monitor installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of signalling systems.
Ensure all work complies with Indian Railways specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and railway officials for smooth project execution.
Review engineering drawings, technical documents, and project plans.
Identify and resolve technical issues encountered during project implementation.
Monitor project progress, prepare technical reports,



and maintain project documentation.
Ensure timely completion of assigned milestones while maintaining quality standards.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site teams.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates should possess one of the following qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering
M.Sc. in Physics
M.Sc. in Electronics

Experience Requirements

Candidates can qualify through either of the following pathways:

Option A Industry Experience
Minimum 15years of total skilled experience after graduation.
At least 8years of experience in Railway Signalling Systems.
Minimum 3years of experience as a Resident Engineer or Senior Engineer in railway signalling projects.
