Job Description
We are seeking an experienced legal leader to head the legal function across the APAC region (excluding China) for a global automotive supplier, providing strategic direction and ensuring alignment with global legal standards. Your tasks include:
Lead the Legal function across multiple APAC (excl. China) jurisdictions




Manage and develop a geographically dispersed, multicultural legal team
Act as primary legal advisor to regional leadership on complex cross-border matters
Provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal guidance in line with global strategy
Oversee all regional legal activities (commercial, corporate, regulatory, governance)
Identify and mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies
Support key business initiatives such as market expansion, partnerships, and restructuring
Manage significant disputes and external counsel across the region and report legal risks
Serve as the key interface between APAC leadership and global Legal & Compliance

Qualifications
Fully qualified lawyer with a law degree from a reputable university and admission to practice in at least one jurisdiction
Minimum 10 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in an international law firm and/or
