The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for assisting walk-in customers, driving sales, managing inventory, coordinating home deliveries, scheduling grooming appointments, and ensuring smooth day-to-day store operations. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, enjoy interacting with customers, and be comfortable working around pets.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Sales & Service
Welcome and assist walk-in customers with product selection and recommendations.
Understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions for their pets.
Achieve individual and store sales targets through excellent customer service.
Build long-term relationships with pet parents and encourage repeat visits.

Store Operations
Maintain product displays and ensure shelves are fully stocked.
Handle billing, POS transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately.
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Support opening and closing store procedures.

Inventory Management
Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment.

check, and organize incoming inventory.
Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies.
Ensure proper storage and handling of products.

Home Deliveries
Coordinate and schedule customer home deliveries.
Work with delivery partners to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Resolve customer delivery-related queries and issues.

Grooming (Spa) Appointments
Schedule and manage grooming appointments.
Coordinate with groomers to ensure effective appointment flow.
Follow up with customers regarding appointments and service feedback.

Customer Relationship Management
Maintain customer records and contact information.
Promote loyalty programs, offers, memberships, and store events.
Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.

Requirements
2–5 years of experience in retail sales, hospitality, restaurants, customer service, or pet retail.
