Job Description — Backend Developer (Python/Django & Node.js)

Role: Backend Developer Experience: 3+ Years Type: Full-time

Location: Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore

About the Role

We’re looking for a Backend Developer who goes beyond writing functional code — someone who thinks
in systems, ships clean APIs, and takes full ownership of the backend. You’ll work across Django and
Node.js services, third-party integrations, payment infrastructure, and distributed microservices in a
quick-moving product environment.

We actively embrace AI-assisted development. You should be comfortable using AI tools as a force
multiplier — not as a crutch, but as a way to move faster, catch issues earlier, and ship with more
confidence.

What You’ll Do
Design, build, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Django/DRF and/or Node.js
(Express/NestJS)
Architect and ship microservices with clear boundaries, async task handling, and fault tolerance

— across Python and Node.js services as needed
Integrate third-party platforms — logistics/shipping providers,



payment gateways (Stripe,

Razorpay, PayU, or similar), and external SaaS APIsBullMQ/Agenda (Node.js side)—for async processing, queues, and scheduled jobs
Set up and manage background workers—Celery + Redis/RabbitMQ (Python side),
Own database design in PostgreSQL/MongoDB — schema design, indexing, query optimization
Write well-tested code with unit and integration tests (pytest / Jest)
Collaborate with frontend and DevOps on API contracts, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
Use AI coding tools to accelerate development, reduce boilerplate, and improve code quality

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves (Python track):
Solid hands-on Python and production experience with Django and DRF
Experience with Celery or equivalent task queue systems
