Job Opportunity: Murex MxML Developer

Location:
Bengaluru, India (Relocation Friendly)

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to hit the ground running, collaborating across various teams to design, build, and support critical Murex integrations. Your day-to-day will include:
Workflow & Interface Development:
Design, develop, and enhance Murex MxML workflows, MxML Exchange components, and XML-based integrations.
Technical Analysis & Delivery:
Perform end-to-end technical analysis, development, testing, and validation of complex MxML-based solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with Business Analysts, QA teams, Senior Developers, and stakeholders across Front, Middle, and Back Office teams.
Support & Troubleshooting:
Investigate, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to Murex interfaces, trade processing, and downstream systems.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to system upgrades, regulatory changes, production support, and continuous deployment initiatives.
Agile Documentation:
Follow Agile practices, participate in sprint ceremonies,



and maintain clear, high-quality technical documentation.

Must-Have Skills & Experience
Murex Expertise:
4–7 years of hands-on experience with recent, active
MXML configuration and development
(Mandatory).
Integration Technologies:
Deep, practical experience with
MxML Exchange
,
MxML Workflows
, and XML-based integrations.
Domain Knowledge:
Solid grasp of the
Trade Lifecycle
, Murex pre-trade flows, Murex interface architecture, and end-to-end Capital Markets processes.
Technical Stack:
Robust proficiency in
XML / XSLT
.
Solid programming skills in
Java
and/or scripting languages.
Proficient in writing
SQL
(Oracle or PostgreSQL) and navigating
Unix/Linux
settings.
Methodology:
Strong experience working within
Agile
frameworks.
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical thinking, troubleshooting abilities, and solid stakeholder communication skills.
