. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in
SQL Server Database Administration
,
Azure Cloud
, and
DevOps
, with hands-on experience in managing mission-critical database settings, automation, and cloud-based infrastructure.
Required Experience
7+ years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator.
Robust experience in SQL Server installation, configuration, administration, and upgrades.
Experience in Azure Cloud services related to SQL Server.
Valuable understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation.
Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
Expertise in backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
Experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, Replication, Log Shipping,
and Clustering.
Hands-on experience with database security, monitoring, and capacity planning.
Knowledge of PowerShell or scripting for automation.
Experience working in production support environments with incident management.
Strong understanding of database migration from on-premises to Azure.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
