The Lab Attendant supports the daily operations of the laboratory by keeping the lab clean, preparing equipment and materials, maintaining stock, and following safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Keep the laboratory clean and organized.
Clean and arrange laboratory equipment and tools.
Prepare materials and equipment for testing.
Receive, label, and store samples as instructed.
Maintain stock of laboratory supplies and report shortages.
Dispose of laboratory waste safely.
Follow all laboratory safety rules and wear required protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain basic records and assist the laboratory team with routine tasks.
Qualifications
10+2 or equivalent qualification.
Previous laboratory experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills
Basic knowledge of laboratory safety.
Ability to follow instructions.
