Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Assistant Merchandiser
to support the merchandising team in planning, coordinating, and executing product requirements for our lab-grown diamond jewellery business. The ideal candidate will coordinate with vendors, production, inventory, and sales teams to ensure timely product availability and smooth order execution.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing merchandising activities.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for order processing.
Track production timelines and ensure timely product deliveries.
Maintain product-wise inventory records and stock availability.
Coordinate with the design and production teams for current product launches.
Prepare purchase orders, product sheets, and merchandising reports.
Monitor product movement and replenishment across stores.
Ensure accurate product specifications, pricing, and SKU management.
Support product sampling and quality checks.
Coordinate with logistics for dispatch and delivery schedules.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
Maintain merchandising documentation and ERP records.
Assist during exhibitions, product launches, and promotional activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Fashion, Retail Management, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience
in merchandising, preferably in the jewellery, diamond, or luxury retail industry.
Freshers with relevant internships may also be considered.
Required Skills
Robust communication and coordination skills.
Valuable knowledge of inventory management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
