Role & responsibilities :

As the Software and Controls Engineering Leader, you will manage and guide the controls and software teams in India, driving the development of cutting-edge tools, systems, and processes for Automatic transmissions Dual Clutch, AMT, AT, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of calibration and control engineers, ensuring alignment with global objectives and fostering collaboration.
Control Systems & Embedded Development: Oversee the development of software for transmission and powertrain control systems, ensuring compliance with automotive standards and performance targets.
Process Improvement: Implement state-of-the-art tools and methodologies, driving continuous improvement in software development, calibration, and testing.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and senior management, providing progress updates and facilitating teamwork across departments.
Project Management:



Manage project schedules, resources, budgets, and timelines while resolving inefficiencies and ensuring successful delivery.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety standards and automotive regulations, supporting risk assessments and system reliability.

Preferred candidate profile :
Robust communication skills, both written and verbal.
Expertise in calibration tools, software development (MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, AUTOSAR), and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN).
Experience with ASPICE, Agile practices and functional safety standards (ISO 26262) is a plus.
Proven experience in servant leadership, team building, and stakeholder management.
Ability to work collaboratively and build robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
