Storage & System Testing
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for enterprise storage and distributed systems.
Validate storage functionalities including:
Replication
Snapshots
Backup & Recovery
High Availability
Failover mechanisms
Cluster validation
Execute testing across distributed multi-node settings.
Design and maintain test plans, test cases, and validation strategies.
Automation & QA Engineering
Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Python.
Automate repetitive testing scenarios to improve coverage and efficiency.
Work closely with development teams to improve automation and release quality.
Participate in CI/CD-driven testing and release validation workflows.
Debugging & Validation
Analyze logs, troubleshoot failures, and identify root causes.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve defects.
Validate fixes and ensure product stability across releases.
Perform defect tracking, reporting, and regression verification.
Performance & Reliability Testing
Conduct scalability, stress, and reliability testing for storage systems.
Validate product behavior under heavy workloads and failure conditions.
Identify system bottlenecks and provide quality improvement recommendations.
Collaboration & Agile Practices
Work closely with QA, development, DevOps, and product teams.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and QA best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Technical Skills
3+ years of experience in QA/Testing with focus on Storage or Distributed Systems.
Robust understanding of:
System Testing
Regression Testing
End-to-End Validation
Distributed Systems Testing
Solid programming/scripting skills in Python.
Experience with test automation frameworks and QA methodologies.
