About the Role

SocioTech Services is seeking a motivated and technically skilled
Forward Deployed Engineer
to work closely with our U.S.-based client in the trucking and transportation industry.

This role combines software engineering, technical consulting, system implementation, customer collaboration, and operational problem-solving. You will work directly with business and technical teams to understand operational challenges, develop practical solutions, integrate systems, automate workflows, troubleshoot issues, and deploy technology within real-world business environments.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving business problems through technology and is comfortable working across software engineering, operations, product, and customer-facing teams.

Responsibilities
Work with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements, technical needs, and operational challenges.
Design, develop, configure, and deploy software solutions based on business requirements.
Customize internal platforms, dashboards, workflows, and automation systems.




Build and maintain integrations between databases, APIs, CRM platforms, third-party tools, and internal applications.
Analyze existing business processes and identify prospects for automation and improvement.
Write scripts, database queries, APIs, and automated workflows.
Troubleshoot software, database, integration, network, and system-related issues.
Support the implementation and deployment of recent features and technical solutions.
Convert client feedback and operational requirements into product improvements.
Test solutions before deployment and monitor system performance after implementation.
Investigate production issues and provide timely technical support.
Prepare technical documentation, implementation guides, and process instructions.
Train employees and users on newly deployed systems and workflows.
