Role & responsibilities
Assisting with the physical unloading of incoming stock shipments from delivery vans or freight trucks
Cross-referencing physical product counts against purchase orders, delivery notes, or manifest slips to spot discrepancies
Checking inbound boxes and fragile products for shipping damage, scratches, or leaks, and logging defective items for returns
Preferred candidate profile
Physical Capability: Ability to lift heavy boxes and stand for long shifts.
Inventory Tracking: Proficiency with barcode scanners and inventory software.
Basic Math: Robust counting skills for regular stock audits.
Time Management: Capacity to meet strict unloading and stocking deadlines
Retail Experience: Previous work in a warehouse, stockroom, or retail floor.
