We are looking for a motivated and driven market reporter to cover Asian carbon markets who values collaboration, curiosity, a solid investigative mindset.
The Impact
In this role, you will support daily price assessments and market coverage for Asia carbon markets, contributing to greater transparency in one of the most agile areas of the energy transition.
Responsibilities:
Publish daily price assessments in line with Platts methodology
Gather and maintain information through daily engagement with market sources to support robust assessments
Cover day-to-day, market-moving developments in the Asia carbon market
Write market commentaries and rationales, delivering daily coverage of key market trends
Create additional digital and audio content (e.g., podcasts)
explaining fundamental drivers behind price movements
Contribute to the development of new assessments as market structures and products evolve
Support and lead engagement meetings to identify issues for market participants and translate insights into product enhancements or adjustments to Platts offerings
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to Platts Editorial Standards
Serve as an internal and external ambassador for Platts Environmental Markets offerings and strategy
