Role- Production Supervisor – Heavy Sheet Metal Fabrication

Location: Jamshedpur
Experience: 5–10 Years
Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical/Production Engineering

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily production activities in the heavy sheet metal fabrication shop.
Plan and monitor manpower, machines, and materials to achieve production targets.
Ensure fabrication and welding work is executed as per engineering drawings, quality standards, and production schedules.
Supervise cutting, bending, fit-up, welding, assembly, and finishing operations.
Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores for smooth production flow.
Maintain safety, discipline, and 5S on the shop floor.
Monitor productivity, minimize rework, and ensure timely completion of jobs.

Required Skills:




Robust hands-on experience in welding processes such as MIG/MAG (GMAW)/ FCAW/ TIG (GTAW)/ ARC, with the ability to supervise welding quality and productivity.
Positive knowledge of heavy sheet metal fabrication processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering/fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
Knowledge of quality standards, shop-floor safety, and production planning.
Solid leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and ERP systems will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
