Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in engineering procurement, vendor management, and import-export coordination. The ideal candidate should have experience in sourcing engineering materials, negotiating with suppliers, coordinating with domestic and international vendors, and ensuring timely procurement while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Purchasing
Handle end-to-end procurement activities for engineering materials, components, and equipment.
Float RFQs, compare quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase orders.
Ensure timely procurement of materials as per project and production schedules.
Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for on-time deliveries.




Maintain procurement records and documentation.

Vendor Management
Identify, evaluate, and develop recent domestic and international vendors.
Build and maintain robust relationships with suppliers.
Conduct vendor performance evaluations based on quality, cost, and delivery.
Resolve supplier-related issues and coordinate corrective actions.
Maintain an approved vendor database.

Import & Export Coordination
Coordinate import and export shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and logistics partners.
Prepare and verify import/export documentation, including:
Commercial Invoice
Packing List
Bill of Lading/Airway Bill
Certificate of Origin
Insurance Documents
Shipping Documents
Coordinate customs clearance activities.
Ensure compliance with DGFT, customs regulations, and company policies.
Track international shipments and update internal stakeholders.
