Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Business Development / Sales Lead – BESS to drive business growth and expand our market presence in the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing strategic client relationships, leading tender and proposal activities, and developing regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
Identify, qualify, and develop current business opportunities in the BESS and renewable energy market.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through strategic prospecting and client engagement.
Develop market penetration strategies to expand business across the assigned region.
Key Account Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, EPC companies, utilities, developers, and industrial clients.
Understand customer requirements and provide customized BESS solutions.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Tender & Proposal Management
Lead the preparation, submission, and follow-up of commercial and technical proposals.
Manage participation in government and private tenders.
Coordinate with internal technical and commercial teams to develop competitive proposals.
Sales Strategy & Market Development
Conduct market research to identify emerging prospects, industry trends, and competitor activities.
Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to strengthen brand presence.
Contract Negotiation
Lead commercial negotiations and finalize contracts with customers.
Ensure agreements align with company objectives while maintaining profitability.
