Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations.
Diagnose eye diseases and vision disorders.
Perform cataract, glaucoma, retina, cornea, squint, oculoplasty, and other eye surgeries (depending on specialization).
Prescribe medications, eye drops, and treatment plans.
Interpret diagnostic tests such as OCT, Fundus, Visual Field, B-Scan, Pachymetry, and Corneal Topography.
Manage emergency eye conditions and trauma cases.
Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgery, and postoperative care.
Monitor patient recovery through follow-up consultations.
Refer patients to subspecialists when required.
Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
Supervise and guide optometrists, nurses, and ophthalmic technicians.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
Participate in community eye screening camps and awareness programs.
Keep updated with the latest ophthalmology techniques, technology, and clinical guidelines.
Support NABH and quality improvement initiatives.
Pay: ₹1,000.00 - ₹2,500.00 per day
