Sunlane Cleantech is building the digital backbone for residential solar and energy management — helping customers transition to clean energy through products that are straightforward, reliable, and genuinely useful.
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own our product portfolio end to end. You'll report directly to our CPO/co-founder. Every product we build, whether a customer uses it or an employee does, gets the same bar for quality and thoughtfulness — this role treats them that way.
What You'll Own
Set and drive the product roadmap across our full product portfolio
Talk to users directly; turn real pain points into product decisions, not just requests
Define the metrics that matter for each product and know whether a decision actually worked
Write clear requirements and specs
Project-manage execution closely — track delivery, unblock issues, and rigorously test what comes back before it ships
Get user feedback
What We're Looking For
6+ years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally at a startup or quick-moving tech company
Robust track record owning products end-to-end — discovery through shipped feature through measured impact
Comfortable managing more than one product surface at once without losing focus or quality on either
Customer-first mindset — defaults to talking to users, not just reading dashboards
Excellent communicator — with founders, engineers, and non-technical staff alike
Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity
Data-literate — comfortable with dashboards, funnels, product metrics; doesn't need to be technical
Comfortable using AI tools as part of the product workflow — mocks, prototypes, spec drafting, and similar
An eye for good UX — you can tell the difference between a feature that's shipped and one that's actually usable, and you push for the latter
Keeps an eye on the market and competitors — you bring outside perspective into
