ROLE PROFILE

The Senior Engineer – Battery Pack Structure is a crucial role in the Team. This role requires a high level of

analytical and critical thinking.

This role is required to lead engineering activities within the scope of a defined project, including coordination of

resources, planning of timelines, and delivery of engineering milestones and support team and company initiatives

with a similar approach. The Senior Engineer – Battery Pack Structure will have a direct impact on the company’s

ability to design, develop, and deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance battery systems to customers.

Role responsibilities include:




Lead the design and development of battery pack structural components including frames, enclosures,

base trays, top covers, brackets, and mounting systems
Develop robust and lightweight structural architectures for battery packs that meet mechanical, durability,

and safety requirements
Design battery pack frames and load-bearing structures considering vehicle integration, crash loads,

vibration, and durability requirements
Develop and optimize battery pack enclosures including structural reinforcements, mounting interfaces,

and protection features
Design and implement IP sealing solutions (IP67/IP69K) including gasket grooves, sealing interfaces,

compression sealing concepts, and environmental protection strategies
Design components with plastic materials and molding techniques for use in demanding automotive or

energy storage settings
Perform 3D CAD modelling, 2D drawing creation, GD&T; application,
