We are looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented final-year law students who are eager to gain practical exposure in Corporate Law and Intellectual Property (IP). This internship offers an opportunity to work closely on real-world legal matters involving corporate governance, contract management, patent documentation, and regulatory compliance.
This role is ideal for candidates who are looking to build a strong foundation in corporate legal practice while working with an international team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and analyzing legal agreements, including:
Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
Service Agreements
Employment Agreements
Vendor and Client Contracts
Other commercial agreements
Support corporate legal and company law compliance activities.
Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, and intellectual property matters.
Assist in patent-related work, including:
Prior art research
Patent drafting support
Patent filing documentation
Coordination during the patent prosecution process
Prepare legal opinions, summaries, and compliance reports.
Maintain legal documentation and contract repositories.
Assist in regulatory filings and corporate documentation as required.
Work on special legal projects assigned by the legal team.
Preferred candidate profile:
Final-year LL.B. student (3-year or 5-year law program).
Solid interest in Corporate Law and Intellectual Property.
Excellent legal research and drafting skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Solid attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Prior internship experience in corporate law firms or legal departments is an added advantage but not mandatory.
Mandatory Work Schedule
Applicants must be available to work during U.S. Central Time (CDT) business hours.
Mandatory overlap: 9:00 AM 1:00 PM CDT (Part time).
