M.A in English Job Role: Assistant Professor / Professor – English (M.A.)

An M.A. English Professor is responsible for teaching English language and literature, enhancing students’ communication skills, and contributing to academic and institutional excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Teach English Literature, Language, Communication Skills to UG/PG students
Prepare lesson plans, study material, and assessments
Conduct lectures, seminars, group discussions, and presentations
Evaluate assignments, exams, and projects
Mentor students in academic writing, public speaking, and career skills
Encourage research, paper publications, and seminars
Participate in curriculum development as per university norms
Support examinations, admissions,



NAAC/NBA documentation
Take part in college activities, workshops, and faculty development programs

Eligibility
M.A. in English
NET / SET / PhD preferred (as per UGC norms)
Teaching experience preferred (freshers may apply where allowed)

Skills Required
Excellent spoken and written English
Robust classroom management skills
Ability to engage and motivate students
Research and academic writing skills

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
