Role & responsibilities
Draft and prepare U.S. legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning instruments
Prepare probate petitions, inventories, accountings, and court correspondence
Support guardianship and conservatorship filings, including annual accountings and reports
Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy, formatting, and compliance with court requirements
Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and internal team members to keep matters on track and deadlines met
Maintain organized case files and update case management/document systems (e.g., Clio, MyCase, WealthCounsel)
Communicate clearly and professionally with U.S.-based attorneys and clients over email and calls
Manage multiple active matters simultaneously with high attention to detail
Preferred candidate profile
Law degree required (LLB/JD or equivalent)
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Robust attention to detail and accuracy, this role involves court filings and client-facing documents
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and multitask across matters
Comfortable working U.S. business hours (remote, WFH)
Prior exposure to U.S. legal drafting, estate planning, or probate work is a solid plus
Familiarity with legal software/tools (Clio, MyCase, WealthCounsel, or similar) is a plus
Solid research skills and ability to quickly learn U.S. legal procedure and terminology
