PLC programmer
This position is multi-faceted and requires a blend of engineering knowledge and communication skills.

This position will be based on an office structure at Micro-Epsilon India HQ in Pune.
The candidate will report directly to the Director at Pune.

The responsibilities will consist of:
Programming of automated production lines, measurement systems and robots:
Developing and implementing recent automation projects from the PLC programming perspective
Commissioning and installing equipment at customer sites
Providing technical support for existing projects via remote access

Customer communication (primarily in English):




Gathering and clarifying information related to the project preparation phase
Supporting existing projects through technical analysis and reporting

Automation software and hardware activities:
Developing and maintaining PLC and HMI applications using Siemens TIA Portal, including Simatic WinCC Unified / Advanced
Working with Siemens Simatic STEP7 Skilled for PLC programming and system integration
Configuring and supporting Siemens Simatic NET OPC Server solutions
Programming and supporting Mitsubishi Electric PLC controllers with web-based visualization
Supporting and integrating Rockwell Automation control systems with web-based visualization

Requirements:
Four-year engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics or Robotics.
Minimum 3 to 5 year job experience in PLC programming.
Support Oriented candidates will be preferred for the job
Should be ready to travel Often.
