We are looking for a energetic and result-oriented Academic Counsellor / Senior Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in selecting suitable Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs. The ideal candidate should have experience in UG & PG admissions counselling, excellent communication skills, and the ability to convert student enquiries into successful admissions.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel prospective students and parents regarding Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs, admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and career opportunities.
Understand students' educational background and career aspirations to recommend suitable programs.
Handle the complete admission process, from enquiry generation and counselling to enrolment.
Conduct counselling sessions through phone, virtual meetings, and face-to-face interactions.
Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions in the CRM system.
Coordinate with admissions and academic teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
Participate in admission drives, education fairs, seminars, webinars, and outreach activities.
Achieve monthly admission and conversion targets.
Stay updated on program offerings, admission policies, and industry trends.
Eligibility Criteria
Education: Graduate (Bachelor's degree) in any discipline.
Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience in academic counselling, admissions counselling, or educational sales.
Experience in counselling students for Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs is preferred.
Excellent communication, counselling, and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable working in a target-driven workplace.
